Luol Deng filed his candidate form to the Electoral Committee (EC) on Monday, seeking re-election as President of the South Sudan Basketball Federation.
Arou Ramadan, the federation’s former interim secretary, is claimed to have applied for the role of secretary-general, while Wal Paul Puk applied for the position of secretary of finance.
The three filed their nomination papers with the newly created election committee.
The election is scheduled for February 19, 2024.
